Born & raised in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, Brenton began working as a bus boy at 14. He graduated from Johnson and Wales University in 1998 and moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, to work at Lon’s at The Hermosa Inn, Zagat’s #1 Rated Restaurant in the Southwest. In 2001 he moved to Philadelphia to work as a sous chef with Georges Perrier at Brasserie Perrier, as well as private events at Le Bec Fin.
After years of working in Philadelphia, he moved to Rehoboth Beach with his wife, Adrienne, in 2011, working at Nage and Dogfish Head before pursuing his dream of opening a restaurant. Crust & Craft opened in 2015 with the goal of using fresh, locally farm grown & raised products to produce hand crafted, unique foods.
Born in Warren, Ohio, Katie moved to the Delmarva area in 2011, when her mother relocated here. She started her restaurant career as a hostess at Rose & Crown in Lewes, Delaware, where she eventually became the Bar Manager. She left in 2015 to join the Crust & Craft staff, where she became general manager.
Katie is wine connoisseur and an experienced mixologist who has created our unique list of wines and cocktails. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, Faith and Gus, and her family.
